Gülsah Wilke is heading the job and travel portfolio at Axel Springer Digital. In this role she is, among others, an advisory board member at StepStone, Axel Springer’s biggest portfolio company and the leading e-recruitment company in the Western world. Before she was based in Silicon Valley for 6 months identifying potential partnership/ invest cases for Axel Springer and building a digital hub for corporate partners including a high-profile network of start-ups and investors. Previously, she worked at McKinsey & Company and IBM, advising numerous Executive Boards of international companies in their strategic/ digital transformation across various industries, in particular Tech and Media. Gülsah has studied International Management at EBS and holds a Master’s Degree with distinction.
Maru believes in the value of meaningful partnerships. Through her unique talent for making connections, she has been able to, in her role as a founder and an entrepreneur, built a global network of select individuals. She uses this network to connect visionary global leaders in the technology sector with the resources they require to succeed, in order to maximize their impact. Next to her work at SUPER Group she also promotes innovation as a Venture Partner at Cavalry Ventures, who for example invested in Caroobi. She was one of the first external committee board members of the BAYER Cares Foundation and is co-initiator of the Impact Circle of Friends of Yunus Social Business. Additionally, Maru is the mother of two young children and an advocate of young talent, especially empowering female leaders.
